About Marla McBride
Hello Mamas,
Welcome to the Growing Parent Community. I am Marla McBride and this is the online space where I get to teach parents easy ways to help their birth to five-year-old child learn and grow. I live just outside of Kansas City with my beloved family whom I collectively refer to as the “McMen.” I feel anytime spent outside is time well spent.
I have been teaching parents since 2003 how to be their child’s first and most influential teacher. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development from the University of Central Missouri. I have been a Certified Parent Educator for over 17 years. I use a research-based curriculum for coaching and a developmental approach to parenting through a faith-based lens.

About The Growing Parent
The Growing Parent is an all-encompassing developmental program designed to help parents of children from birth to age 5 learn, grow, and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
We provide courses based on your child’s age and developmental level that include parent techniques, expectations for age levels, and activities to compliment your child’s growth and development.
We also offer one-on-one consultation on a limited basis as well as mini courses on certain developmental aspects like sleep training and potty training.
